1910 Sunkist Original Antique spoonring. These spoons were only made from 1910-1917.

Sunkist pattern c.1910 by Wm. Rogers & Son AA which was not a full line of silverplate flatware, but a premium offered by Sunkist for purchase of their oranges. The design is quite unique, featuring oranges amid orange leaves - the oranges even have "dimple" marks like a real orange.  Design is also on reverse side.
   
This pattern was designed by Gustave Strohhaker and patent was applied for in 1910.  These spoons date from 1910 before patent was finally approved Strohhaker designed several spoons as premiums; however this was the first of his designs which Sunkist used to market their oranges.    The following excerpt details this information:“In an effort to distinguish Sunkist oranges from others, the CFGE (California Fruit Growers Exchange) wrapped its oranges in paper stamped with the Sunkist brand. But in 1909, after Sunkist learned that merchants were selling non-Sunkist oranges as Sunkist, it began to offer consumers a free Sunkist-branded spoon in exchange for mailing in twelve Sunkist wrappers. One million spoons were claimed in the first year of the promotion, further establishing the brand in consumers’ minds and giving merchants a reason to want to display Sunkist oranges in their original wrappers. By 1910, the promotion had resulted in Sunkist becoming the world’s largest purchaser of cutlery.”  Although many of these spoons were sold as premiums, they are still somewhat on the rare side, especially in good condition.

Shipping from United States

You have the option to have your order shipped using the United States Postal Service Priority mail, it is insured and it has a tracking number inside the United States . You also have the choice to chose a First class rate which will also have a tracking number, but not the insurance this is completely up to you. We have no liability to packages once they are accepted into the hands of the postal service.
When you order from us, you will receive a notice message in your in box when your purchase is on its way to you-so check the email that you've given for that update. The tracking number is provided so you can track your purchase right to your local post office.
We also ship out Federal Express. Fed Ex also ships insured with a tracking number when mailed within the United States. If you prefer Fed Ex just let us know, if there is any difference in the shipping costs we will message you with the cost difference.

We want your experience with The Crafty Vision to be a positive one. If you have ordered a custom order, under the circumstances and time to create your order, we will not exchange your item. All issues may be different from item to item and will be handled as such.

If you need a ring resized or a correction made that was a mistake on our part, on any silverware jewelry, please contact us within 7 days and we will refund 50% of standard shipping cost to assist in sending it back for any adjustments. Please send the piece back within 7 days and contact us with the tracking number. Any issues with returns must to be sent back to us within 7 days of the initial first week. Late returns will not be honored.Please understand that our customers are our priority and we are also creating new pieces. Your prompt return is appreciated.

Frequently Asked Questions

How do I care for my silverware rings and jewelry?

Keep your silver plated and sterling silverware jewelry shiny by simply buffing with a soft cloth. Keeping it stored in a jewelry box when not worn will also help to keep it shiny.
If you would like a little patina, leave it out and it will darken. Then buff only the raised areas with a soft cloth.

Gift wrapping and packaging

The silverware jewelry is placed in an appropriate jewelry box, then packaged in a hand stamped
paper bag with a personal note to you. You can request a gift message that will be printed and put inside a small card. These are sent off in a 9 X 6 padded envelope.

Larger items from the wood shop are carefully packed in bubble wrap and tissue paper.
